World Vision U.S. is seeking a broadly experienced servant leader to fill the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer. World Vision U.S. is one of the largest Christian aid organizations in the world, with more than $1 billion in annual revenues. As the CEO’s role increasingly becomes externally focused, the COO will be the key internal leader to guide growth and equip the organization to effectively and opportunistically fulfill its mission of “life in all its fullness” for every child it serves.
The successful candidate will have a vital and well-articulated Christian faith, and prior experience as a CEO or COO. Ideally, the person will have a strong background in running a marketing-driven consumer products or services organization — someone who has demonstrated ability in building and growing people and organizations.
