Monterey, California — Trinity Christian School has selected Dr. Dennis Brown as its next Head of School following a comprehensive national search designed to identify a Christ-centered leader to guide the school into its next season of growth and impact.
Dr. Brown brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in Christian education, and he currently serves as a principal at an international school in Beijing, China. His background includes strategic school development, accreditation leadership, parent and community engagement, and innovation in teaching and learning. He is widely recognized for his commitment to character-centered education and his passion for preparing students to flourish academically, spiritually, and personally.
JobfitMatters consultants Laura Coverstone and Ed Poff were honored to partner with the Trinity Christian School Board throughout the search process to clarify leadership priorities, engage stakeholders, and evaluate candidates through sourcing, interviews, reference vetting, and JobfitMatters’ SIMA® assessment process.

Dr. Brown holds a Bachelor’s degree in Bible with a concentration in Missions from Carolina University and both a Master’s in Education and a Doctorate in Education from Liberty University.
Throughout the search, the Board remained prayerful and intentional, seeking the Lord’s wisdom and guidance as they discerned the school’s next leader. Trinity Christian School looks forward to Dr. Brown’s leadership as the school continues partnering with families to provide Christ-centered education that equips students to flourish academically, grow spiritually, and live lives of faithful service.
