JobfitMatters Executive Search is pleased to share that Michael Ehrenfried has been appointed Head of School for Denver Christian School, effective July 1, 2025.
Ehrenfried is an accomplished educational leader and strategist with over two decades of experience in design and innovation in teaching and learning, community formation, and systems change at Kent Denver School (Englewood, Colorado). In his current role as Chief Innovation and Information Officer, his leadership spans institutional advancement, systems designer, program innovator, and educational technology strategist. In addition to his roles in Christian K-12 education, Ehrenfried serves as the stated clerk and treasurer for City Classis (Reformed Church in America), member of the Academic Leaders Advisory Council for One Schoolhouse, and elder delegate for the Reformed Church in America. Previously, he served as an affiliate staff member for CRU (formerly Campus Crusade for Christ).

Ehrenfriend was selected from an exceptional pool of candidates across multiple states and three countries. Ehrenfried holds a Master’s in Theology from Western Theological Seminary, a Master’s in Education and Human Development, and Educational Technology Leadership from George Washington University, and a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Duke University. Ehrenfried and his wife, Maggie, are the parents of three children.
