Michael J. McKenna Named Headmaster of Providence Classical School

JobfitMatters is pleased to announce Michael J. McKenna’s appointment as the next Headmaster of Providence Classical School in Houston, Texas beginning in the 2015-2016 school year. McKenna has spent the last fifteen years as the Headmaster of Rockbridge Academy, a classical and Christian school in Annapolis, Maryland.

Mike McKenna is a long-time leader in classical and Christian education. At Rockbridge Academy, Mr. McKenna has been instrumental as both a teacher and an administrator. He developed and leads an annual summer teacher training program at Rockbridge that is attended by teachers from across the country and around the globe. Before joining Rockbridge, Mike was Headmaster for eight years at Trinity Christian School in Statesboro, Georgia.

Mike and his wife, Christine, have been married for 25 years and have four adult children, as well as a son who will be a senior at Providence next year.
