Kirk Day School Names Clement Head of School

JobfitMatters is pleased to announce Taylor Clement’s appointment as the next Head of School of Kirk Day School in St. Louis, Missouri beginning July 1. The board unanimously voted to select Taylor in March.  He currently serves as the Assistant Head of School at The Covenant School in Nashville, Tennessee and has a proven track record of administrative excellence as well as passion for kids.  Search Committee Chair Alan Stanfill shared, “Taylor is a high energy, experienced, visionary leader who is uniquely gifted to continue the great traditions of Kirk Day School while leading us to grow in impact and influence for years to come.”

Taylor Clement began his career as a classroom educator at Franklin Christian Academy in Franklin, Tennessee where he was quickly promoted to Dean of Students.  After several years at Franklin Christian Academy, he left to become the Assistant Head of School for The Covenant School in Nashville, where he has been an innovative leader at an inherently Christian school that focuses on high academic standards. Taylor received his B.A from Samford University and an M.A from Lipscomb University where he did his research on the rise and sustainability of evangelical Christian schools.

Taylor, along with his wife Katy and son Anderson (1 year) will be transitioning from Nashville upon completion of the current school year.
