In 2014, Erskine will celebrate 175 years as a Christian academic community comprising both a liberal arts college and graduate theological seminary. The Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church established Erskine, South Carolina’s first four-year Christian college, with the specific mission to equip students for advanced academic studies, service to society, and together with the seminary to prepare students for service in the Church. The next president of Erskine will have the opportunity to build upon Erskine’s rich history and advance the institution’s mission for generations to come.
