With locations in Michigan and Indiana, SpringHill’s year-round camps and retreats have supported local churches, communities, and families for over half a century. Since its founding in 1969, SpringHill has hosted more than 1.3 million campers and serves thousands of campers and guest groups each year. Additionally, SpringHill partners with local churches and ministries to provide fun and engaging day-camp and overnight-camp opportunities for children, youth, and families. SpringHill benefits from a reputation for authentic relationships, reaching hearts and souls for Christ, and maintaining a high standard of creativity, innovation, and excellence. 

After a steep attendance decline during COVID throughout camping ministries, SpringHill is currently on a steady upward trajectory. With a current $7.5M budget and more than $20M+ in assets, the team at SpringHill steward donors’ resources for maximum impact. The ministry is currently in the process of increasing capacity for family camps and guest groups to meet the needs of today’s families.  

The ideal next President will be a gifted spiritual leader and a solid track record of shepherding growing organizations. This person will bring a contagious joy and team leadership skills that will motivate SpringHill to continue to lead their constituents to a deeper relationship with Christ.  An entrepreneurial spirit of innovation is desired, and the successful candidate will have proven transformational skills, creative financial approaches, and fundraising success. Future success will include the completion of the $12M capital campaign and a keen eye toward growth in the future.
