Chief Financial Officer for World Vision U.S.

Job Title: Chief Financial Officer
Location: Federal Way, Washington

World Vision U.S. is seeking a broadly experienced servant leader to fill the position of Chief Financial Officer. World Vision U.S. is one of the largest Christian aid organizations in the world, with more than $1 billion in annual revenues. As a part of the executive team, the CFO will need to be strategically forward-thinking to equip the organization to effectively fulfill its mission of “life in all its fullness” for every child it serves. The successful candidate will have a vital and well-articulated Christian faith and prior experience as a CFO. Ideally, the person will have proven success in a marketing-driven nonprofit, consumer products, or services organization — someone who has demonstrated ability in driving an organization toward financial health. The CFO will be expected to provide strategic, visionary, forward-thinking leadership, lead through influence, build bridges throughout the international partnership, connect strategy with operations, and be a key driver of the change that is happening at World Vision. This person will need a strong ability to communicate the mission and ethos of the organization, motivate and inspire staff, and cast a compelling vision for World Vision’s work.

The right candidate will likely possess 10+ years’ experience in the practice of finance, preferably a CPA, possibly an MBA, will have experience working with a 501c3, understanding of a consumer-focused organization, and skills working in a variety of international cultures. Because continuity of leadership is critical at this level, World Vision U.S. seeks a CFO who is willing and able to commit the next 10 years or more to the position.
