Salem Christian Homes Appoints Rod Bollins as CEO


JobfitMatters and Salem Christian Homes (Chino, CA) are pleased to announce the appointment of Rod Bollins to the position of Chief Executive Officer at Salem Christian Homes. Salem was founded in 1961 as a Christian school for children with disabilities and currently provides residential services for 111 adults with disabilities. Bollins was chosen unanimously by the Board of Directors on November 26, 2018 and began his tenure on December 3, 2018.

Bollins brings more than twenty years of strategic leadership, sales and marketing experience, primarily in the financial services Industry. After seven years as Senior Vice President of City National Bank in Beverly Hills, CA, Bollins spent 14 years with GE Capital in Los Angeles, ultimately becoming Managing Director. His passion for caring for others has been evidenced by his 11 years of service on the board of directors for Town & Country Manor, a continuing care retirement center and ministry of The Christian & Missionary Alliance. During his tenure on the Board, he served in several strategic leadership roles and helped the organization launch its new mission of “Demonstrating the Care, Love, and Hope of Christ to senior adults.”

Bollins now brings his extensive leadership experience and passion to the disability services field. Board Chair Dave McNichols shared, “We believe Rod has the right combination of gifts and experiences to lead the Salem Christian Homes team well. I am both excited and privileged to work with Rod as we continue to grow the services of Salem.”

Bollins earned a Business degree from California State University in Fullerton. He is an active member, deacon, and treasurer at Bethany Bible Fellowship in Westminster, California. He also spent three years as a Court Appoint Special Advocate (CASA) for children in the Orange County judicial system. On joining Salem Christian Homes, Bollins commented, “Serving our residents and members of the community is a great privilege, and I am eager to work with so many who have dedicated their lives to empowering adults with disabilities.”

Rod and wife, Aleta, have four children and live in La Palma, California.
