Joseph Mettimano Selected as Central Union Mission’s Executive Director


JobfitMatters and Central Union Mission (Washington, D.C.) are pleased to announce that Joseph Mettimano has been selected to serve as Executive Director, effective August 6, 2018. Board Chair Royster Wright shared, “We believe Joe’s proven leadership skills, non-profit experience and heart for the homeless and people of God make him uniquely qualified for the role.”

Mettimano has 28 years of nonprofit management experience working with organizations such as Global Impact, Prison Fellowship, World Vision, UNICEF USA and the American Association for the Advancement of Science. His personal involvement with the homeless community spans over 20 years, including serving for the past six years as a pastor on the streets in Washington, DC, where he preaches every Wednesday night and leads a weekly outreach with food distribution and a time of fellowship. He is an associate pastor and elder at The Orchard Church, in Arlington, VA. Mettimano has lived in the Washington, DC, area for the past 28 years.
