GRACE Christian School in Raleigh Appoints Eric Bradley as Head of School

Eric Bradley

JobfitMatters is pleased to announce that Eric Bradley has been appointed by the GRACE Christian School (Raleigh, NC) Board of Trustees as the next Head of School beginning July 1, 2016. For the last ten years, Eric has served as the Head of High School at Mount Paran Christian School, a TK – 12 Christian college preparatory school in Kennesaw, Georgia, under the mentorship of Dr. David Tilley.

According to Search Committee Chair and Board Member, J.B. Baker, both the Search Committee and the Board unanimously supported the recommendation of Mr. Bradley for Head of School. “We are certain that God provided Eric with the experiences, talents, and leadership abilities to insure we stay consistent to our mission and vision with excellence and in partnership with our families.”

Eric has been in leadership roles in Christian education for nearly twenty years. At Mount Paran, Mr. Bradley has been influential as both a teacher and as the Head of the High School. While there, Eric was instrumental in leading a number of major advancements for the high school, resulting in growth of their Advanced Placement® offerings, developing an engineering program and college counseling department, and increasing both high school enrollment and retention rates. Prior to joining Mount Paran, Eric served nine years at Charlotte Christian School in Charlotte, NC, where his roles spanned that of History Teacher, Spiritual Life Director, and Assistant Principal.

Laura Coverstone and Ed Poff of JobfitMatters were pleased to assist GRACE in this important search. J.B. Baker shared, “From the moment we first spoke on the phone, I felt as if I had known Laura and Ed for many years. The process involved, coalesced with their empathic, collaborative approach, facilitated such a deep immersion in our school’s culture and community, that our needs and goals were a shared vision from the very beginning. The oneness between our teams throughout the search was palpable, neutralizing any hint of doubt as to the eventual outcome. Eight months later, not only have we successfully concluded our search, gaining the leader I know aligns with God’s plan for our school, but I have also gained two friends, deliberately placed in our path by God to walk alongside of us during such a critical juncture for our school.”

Eric and his wife, Amy, have been married for 16 years and have three children – Amelia (13), Thomas (9), and Audrey (7). Eric shared, “My wife, Amy, and our children look forward to making the transition to GRACE Christian School, making our home, and seeing what God has in store for us in the future.”
