JobfitMatters and Appalachia Service Project in Johnson City, Tennessee are pleased to announce the selection of Dave Kelley as the next Chief Advancement Officer. Dave comes to ASP from his role as Regional Director of Donor Engagement for Samaritan’s Purse in Boone, North Carolina. There he managed a regional portfolio of 200+ partners averaging $5 million raised each year. He also led a team of development staff who handled foundations, events, communications, and special projects.
Prior to Samaritan’s Purse, Dave served as a Development Team Leader at Global Action in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Dave earned a B.A. in Business and Economics from Westmont College in Santa Barbara. ASP’s Chief Executive Officer Water Crouch commented, “Hiring Dave Kelley is a big win for our organization that will help us grow in our advancement area beyond what we thought possible.”
